Are you better off with an MSP or without an MSP? That is today’s question. We ask the question in order to realign the discussion of outsourcing IT management in light of recent attacks on MSPs in the past 24 months.

There are 3 general scenarios where managed services has historically been applied:

1) Better off with an MSP compared to not having any internal IT support.
2) Better off with an MSP compared to bare bones or understaffed, underfunded, undertrained, and under provisioned IT.
3) Generally better off with an MSP when you have a full time IT department.
