We are fairly new in the MSP world. What I am looking for is for someone who has been doing this for a year or longer to give some insight into how much time to budget for different maintenance on specific devices. This way I can figure in to our overall price and not lose any money. The question being, on average does a tech spend ten minutes a month on a pc or 10 hours? To be more specific I was hoping someone could give me their average per month time spent on the following:
Exchange server
Server
Firewall
Generic Xp Desktop
Critical Xp Desktop
Router
Switch
printer
We are trying to use this info to set our pricing. Any help would be greatly appreciated
