On the one hand, there’s a renewed energy driven by the recognition that Managed Services and Managed Service Providers remain at the forefront of innovation and critical infrastructure. Yet, being at the forefront also places us in the crosshairs of those who seek to disrupt, from cyber adversaries to regulators and the insurance sector.
In 2024, MSP Alliance forged significant partnerships with key regulatory bodies, cybersecurity defense agencies, and law enforcement groups—building the foundation for meaningful progress. As we move into 2025, we are committed to advancing these relationships, advocating for Cyber Immunity Legislation to protect accredited MSPs, and fostering productive conversations that support the long-term health of our industry. Additionally, we will intensify our efforts with insurance brokers and carriers to ensure they understand the true risks (or lack thereof) posed by accredited MSPs, empowering them to make more informed decisions.
Our ongoing engagement with CISA, banking regulators, legislators, and the insurance industry underscores our dedication to navigating the complexities of this rapidly evolving landscape. However, we do not undertake this journey alone.
