SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA — March 14, 2005 — Privately held Nimsoft today announced that Merseyside Police, one of the UK’s largest provincial police force, has chosen to adopt its NimBUS service-level management solution to provide real-time service monitoring and reporting for its IT infrastructure spanning 3,500 personal computers, and running approximately 50 different policing applications.

The solution will also allow the IT department to immediately notify personnel if response times degrade and service levels are threatened.
Additionally, the NimBUS service level management solution will allow Merseyside Police to verify round-the-clock network connectivity to devices and application services, revealing accessibility and network latency and performance.
