CARY, NC – August 13, 2007 –Consonus Technologies, Inc., has hired John Roger in the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer. As COO, Mr. Roger will be responsible for CTI’s solutions and services business, to include hosting infrastructure, managed services business development, service management, customer support and training, as well as infrastructure services and solutions.
Mike Shook, CEO of CTI welcomed John stating, “John has distinguished himself as a performance-driven leader with an excellent track record of execution, service delivery and client satisfaction.”
Prior to joining CTI, Mr. Roger was the chief operating officer of VilCom, LLC, a privately held, diversified media company in Chapel Hill, N.C. Previously Mr. Roger had worked for General Electric for 21 years in a variety of executive leadership (including global) positions, with progressive experience in strategic growth, sales, general management, finance, operations, Six Sigma/Lean Quality, asset management and strategic sourcing. He held job assignments in both GE and GE Capital during his tenure across a variety of business units.
Mr. Roger graduated Magna Cum Laude from Penn State University where he was also a University Scholar. He lives in Chapel Hill, N.C., with his wife and three children.
