Acquisition continues ANEXIO’s MSP “Roll up” strategy
ANEXIO Technology Services, Inc. announced today that ANEXIO has acquired the assets of DocuTech, an accredited managed IT provider based in Philadelphia and Baltimore that offers a full suite of IT services for small to mid-sized companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. The acquisition is part of ANEXIO’s strategy for growth in the managed cloud and IT services market for the U.S. East Coast.
“Acquisition of DocuTech is consistent to our strategy of providing comprehensive cloud and IT services up and down the East Coast,” said Tony Pompliano, CEO of ANEXIO. “An established technology provider with a solid base of clients and more than a dozen certifications, DocuTech has a forward-thinking mindset that sets it above other providers in the Mid-Atlantic region, and the company will become a major component of the ANEXIO umbrella of technology services.”
ANEXIO, initially acquired by Pompliano over a year ago, has been steadily buying managed services firms along the Eastern United States
“At DocuTech, we’re in expansion mode, and for several years we’ve sought a partner to broaden the scope of DocuTech’s offerings in the cloud, hybrid and managed services arenas. This acquisition will keep DocuTech’s personnel in place while bringing additional technology services to our customers under one roof, including an in-house Help Desk & NOC (Network Operations Center), cloud and hosting services,” said DocuTech President Howard Podgurski.
DocuTech is recognized as a leader in the IT services industry for its customized approach to technology, treating each customer on an individual basis, and crafting technology solutions around the right blend of services to complement company culture, specific business needs and a range of technology support requirements.
DocuTech was advised by Weaver & Associates, a boutique M&A advisory firm specializing in managed services and cloud computing companies.
