Mark Cattini Joins Autotask Corporation as CEO to Lead Company Expansion; Bob Godgart Named Chairman and Chief Visionary Officer
Autotask Corporation announced today that Mark Cattini has joined the company as chief executive officer to lead the expansion of the company’s leading hosted global IT Business Management solutions. In addition, Bob Godgart has been named chairman and chief visionary officer of the company.
Cattini most recently comes to Autotask from Awareness, Inc., a social media software development company, where he served as president and CEO. Prior to his tenure at Awareness, Cattini served as president and CEO of MapInfo Corporation for seven years. MapInfo, a publicly-traded NASDAQ company, was the top provider of location-based intelligence solutions, integrating software, data and services around the world.
Starting as the managing director of MapInfo’s UK operations in 1995, Cattini was ultimately appointed president and CEO of MapInfo Corporation in the year 2000. Under his leadership, MapInfo Corporation reshaped and rebuilt its company strategy from a technology provider to a vertically-focused solutions provider resulting in 17 consecutive quarters of record growth and the successful sale of the company in 2007 to Pitney Bowes. Following the acquisition, Cattini served as president of Pitney Bowes Marketing Services, a division of Pitney Bowes Corporation, and as a member of Pitney Bowes’ leadership team.
