CHICO, CA, April 10, 2007 – The MSP Alliance (The International Association of Managed Service Providers) today announced that ClearPointe Technology, Inc. has received Managed Services Accreditation status for its Network Operation Center based in Little Rock, Arkansas. This achievement provides ClearPointe clients and partners with the knowledge that this facility has met all the security and privacy guidelines as set forth in the Managed Services Accreditation Exam. MSPs that are entering the managed services profession will also be able to take advantage of ClearPointe’s accredited NOC when they take the Managed Services Accreditation Exam™.
“We’ve spent 7 years and 2.5million dollars building a state-of the art NOC, designed to deliver Managed Services,” said Jeff Johnson, chief executive officer and co-founder of ClearPointe. “It’s exciting to have the ‘Good Housekeeping seal of approval’ from the MSP Alliance. We were a pioneer in the Managed Services world, and we are happy to leverage this NOC throughout our partner network. Using our NOC is a good choice for other MSPs, given the significant investment in time and dollars to develop the necessary infrastructure. ”
The Managed Services Accreditation Exam™ tests MSPs for their overall capabilities to deliver efficient and secure managed services. In addition to testing areas related to business, financial and corporate security practices, the exam looks at other areas such as client retention and satisfaction, automation, and managed services efficiencies.
“The significance of the NOC accreditation is really twofold,” said Charles Weaver, president of the MSP Alliance. “First, ClearPointe clients will have the added peace of mind that their IT networks are being monitored and managed from a safe and secure network operation center. Second, MSPs who leverage ClearPointe’s network operation center will be able to check on the Managed Services Accreditation Exam™ that they use an accredited NOC. That ability will add great value to those MSPs who are serious about entering the managed services profession but who do not wish to undertake the process of building their own NOC.”
