[member] [company], [company]: MSP and MSSP for trucking and logistics companies (Chicago area)
Hi everyone, I'm [member] [company], founder of [company] (FLEETMATE LLC). We are an MSP and MSSP for trucking and logistics companies in the Chicago area and nationwide, plus a few clients in other industries. What we do: managed IT and security for carriers and freight brokers, many of them with dispatch and back-office staff spread across time zones. Our stack is Microsoft 365 Business Premium, SentinelOne with Vigilance MDR, Proofpoint for email, NinjaOne for RMM and 3CX for voice. We are moving our PSA to HaloPSA next month, and our client agreements run on Monjur. The threats we deal with most are freight-specific: rate confirmation phishing that drops remote access trojans, business email compromise on carrier and broker mailboxes, double brokering and fake carrier setups. A big part of our work is getting clients to a security baseline that holds up on a cyber insurance questionnaire. What I want out of MSPAlliance: - Peers who serve transportation, logistics or other high-fraud verticals, to compare notes on BEC and freight fraud response. - Practical advice on growing the MSSP side: SOC process, client reporting, and pricing security separately from IT. - Lessons from real HaloPSA rollouts, especially contracts, recurring billing and the client portal. - A clear picture of what the MSPCV verification involves and whether it fits a shop like ours. Happy to share what we have learned about freight phishing campaigns. Feel free to reach out. [member] [link hidden]
