IntelliNet Utilizes Compuware Vantage Technology to Provide Organizations With Improved Application Performance Management and Assessment Services
DETROIT--May 2, 2005--Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR) today announced a joint solution offering with IntelliNet, an enterprise network management service consultancy. Through this solution offering, IntelliNet will deliver enterprise application performance services utilizing Compuware Vantage technology. Compuware Vantage helps IT organizations and service providers manage and improve application performance to meet business requirements.
Enterprises today depend on highly performing, highly available software applications to conduct business with customers, partners and suppliers. IntelliNet's application service management offering, Enterprise Performance Management, utilizes Compuware Vantage to ensure application performance by prioritizing application-related service issues and rapidly troubleshooting performance and availability problems.
With this partnership, IntelliNet expands its offerings into application and SLM performance monitoring. Utilizing Compuware Vantage technology to report on and analyze the performance and availability of application transactions in a coordinated manner, IntelliNet can deliver enterprise awareness, problem characterization and resolution to application performance degradation where it matters the most: to the end-user.
"After evaluating and having previously used many market-leading application service management technologies, we chose to partner with Compuware because the Compuware Vantage suite is recognized as a cost-effective, long term solution," said Ed Taton, Vice President, Business Development, IntelliNet. "Our Compuware Vantage-based solution offering gives organizations a complete end-to-end view into their application performance issues."
By utilizing Compuware Vantage as part of their Enterprise Performance Management Solution, IntelliNet will provide these solutions to customers based on a simple monthly subscription, enabling the proactive management and monitoring of customer applications to assure specific performance and service levels.
"In our complex environment, application performance and a favorable end-user experience are critical for our business success. Whenever an end-user complains about an application's performance or availability, the first dashboard that we refer to is the data delivered by IntelliNet's end-user data, collected and displayed by Compuware Vantage," said Ken Sidon, Chief Information Officer, Medical Mutual of Ohio. "This service monitors end-user performance from the desktop perspective and captures critical troubleshooting information at the time of performance, availability and degradation."
