TORONTO – September 16, 2008 – Asigra Inc and Consonus today announced a partnership to provide Consonus Virtual Business Continuity (VBC) services. A national data center, IT managed services and infrastructure solutions provider, Consonus now provides an enterprise-class VBC managed service that uses the Asigra Televaulting™ Information Recovery Management services platform as a key component of the overall solution.
The Consonus Virtual Business Continuity service is a turnkey, pay-as-you-go information recovery offering that incorporates BC/DR consulting, Tier IV data center capabilities, data protection services, recovery infrastructure (virtual or dedicated), recovery mode access, and a comprehensive methodology to ensure that data and applications are protected and available in the event of a disaster. Consonus VBC services provide proactive assurance against application downtime and data loss for continuous business operations. The initial VBC offering is focused on Microsoft Exchange® with similar capabilities for other applications on the Consonus VBC roadmap.
