Continuum Launches Cloud Console for MSPs

Continuum, the IT service provider for managed service providers, has announced the launch of its Continuum Cloud Console (C3), a new Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) management platform that allows MSPs to create, manage and monitor virtual servers on behalf of their small-and-medium-sized business (SMB) clients. In addition to managing on premise hardware for clients, MSPs can now easily support cloud infrastructure from one platform. Continuum recognizes that MSPs need to manage a hybrid environment with infrastructure both on premise and in the cloud.

“At Continuum, we understand that the cloud revolution is a disruptive element to the traditional IT services industry and our MSP partners,” said Michael George, CEO of Continuum. “With the launch of C3, Continuum is making it possible for MSPs to deliver cloud technology very efficiently to its clients and at the client’s pace and readiness, making them relevant in today’s cloud economy and solidifying the future of the channel.”

MSPs have faced various barriers in entering the cloud space, typically geared for large enterprises, but Continuum is eliminating the challenges for its partners. Continuum’s fully integrated Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) and IT services solution offers MSPs the opportunity to take advantage of public cloud infrastructure managed from Continuum’s existing IT Support portal. Continuum’s IaaS offering is streamlined, specifically geared to deliver only the elements needed by SMBs.

“SMBs are transitioning to IaaS to take advantage of numerous benefits – flexibility, mobility and a monthly payment model, and Continuum is partnering with MSPs so they can confidently navigate and support their clients transitioning managed IT services to the cloud,” said Dee Zepf, Vice President of Products and Technical Services at Continuum. “With Continuum’s C3, MSPs can transform their business and embrace the cloud in order to remain competitive and take advantage of new recurring revenue opportunities. And, SMBs can continue working with their same, trusted MSP as they look to transition to the cloud.”

C3 resources initially run on Amazon Web Services (AWS), an Amazon.com company. By working with various MSPs and gaining valuable firsthand feedback on the challenges of cloud-based IT services, Continuum is leveraging a trusted provider in AWS and leveraging their proven network infrastructure and economies of scale. As a result, the company is delivering an IaaS offering specifically designed for MSPs. Continuum plans to work with additional cloud providers to give their partners options and optimum economics.

“C3 has exactly what our clients require, and for us, it has an intuitive, easy-to-use interface,” said Dan Wilson, President/CEO at Waypoint Solutions Group, a company managing clients’ critical IT environments and infrastructure since 2003 and partner of Continuum. “As a beta customer for this product, we’ve been impressed that Continuum has listened to our feedback and delivered on features that will make our technicians more efficient and allow us to easily bring our clients to the cloud.”

Continuum is providing MSPs with various educational training sessions and enablement tools to help sell and market the managed cloud services offering and technical expertise is always available from their 24×7 network operations center (NOC).

C3 is generally available to Continuum partners with a Pay-as-You-Grow Pricing Plan.
