A recent Forrester report predicts that while IT outsourcing has actually continued to grow in 2009 (roughly 2.1%) the improving economy in 2010 could cause a “perfect storm” for MSPs throughout the world as they experience even higher demand for managed services next year. Despite a decrease in the rise of IT outsourcing (we are still growing, just not as fast as in previous years), this report is suggesting that 2009 could be the calm before the storm as more businesses face decreasing budgets and increasing demand to extract more value from their IT resources.
