In a series of press announcements, GFI MAX, the remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform company for managed service providers has announce several product enhancements and new features.
First, GFI MAX announced a new series of security enhancements to its RMM platform, including web security, web filtering, and bandwidth monitoring. In addition to the security enhancements, the company also announced improvements to its mobile device management (MDM) service offering by supporting Windows Phone 8.1. The MDM new features include MDM inventory reporting, location history reporting, and Android provisioning for wi-fi access.
Lastly, GFI launched the latest version of its GFI MAX Backup product, a hybrid cloud backup and recovery service. Some of the latest features of this product include client discovery and remote deployment, VM restores, file skipping during restore, multi-threaded restores, and a web-based backup manager.
GFI will be holding its global customer conferences around the world beginning in September. The events will take place in the following cities, Orlando, Gold Coast, Australia, Dusseldorf, Germany, and London, England.
