HEIT, a MSPAlliance Accredited MSP, and Simpler-Webb, today announce the merger of their two companies. The combination of the two companies will reportedly create the largest U.S. MSP to community financial institutions.
The meaning of this deal to the greater managed services community is significant. Continued economic pressure on companies (including MSPs) means a greater role for M&A as MSPs seek out alternative methods for achieving growth and stability in an unpredictable market. Last week’s merger involving Waypoint Solutions Group, plus an upcoming deal in the MSP space being announced next week, are all strong indicators of the M&A trend for our industry.
