Wipro Technologies to Leverage LANDesk® System Lifecycle Management,
Endpoint Security and IT Service Management Capabilities as part of End-User
Computing Management Services
Salt Lake City – December 8, 2010 – LANDesk Software, a global leader in
systems lifecycle management, endpoint security and IT service management,
today announced a global delivery alliance with Wipro Technologies, the
Global Consulting, System Integration and Outsourcing Business of Wipro
Limited (NYSE:WIT). The business benefits delivered to customers as a result
of the partnership include automation and increased productivity in the areas
of desktop and mobility, asset management and endpoint security.
LANDesk complements Wipro’s Deskside Managed Services (DMS) with its
LANDesk Management Suite for systems management and LANDesk Security Suite
for endpoint security. Wipro DMS is a lifecycle approach to managing laptops,
desktops, multi-functional devices, printers and other deskside devices
including non-IT devices, spread across the globe. Wipro is also looking to
work closely with LANDesk on future initiatives.
