Ottawa, July 18, 2006 - LPI Level Platforms Inc. proudly announced today that it has won the "ISV Software Solutions Sales and Marketing Partner of the Year" Award at the 2006 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Program Awards. The company was chosen out of an international field of top Microsoft Partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology. The awards were presented at a ceremony this month at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference held in Boston.
"Level Platforms has worked closely with Microsoft to extend their technologies as well as to increase awareness and adoption of managed services throughout the Microsoft Partner community," said Peter Sandiford, President and CEO of Level Platforms, "We will continue strengthening our technical and marketing relationships with Microsoft at all levels as we embrace and integrate the full ecosystem of vendors and technologies that address the IT needs of small and medium sized businesses. This award confirms the importance of this growing business segment to Microsoft and the company’s place in Microsoft’s evolving managed services strategy."
Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 1,800 entrants worldwide. Level Platforms was recognized for superior sales and marketing in ISV Software Solutions. The ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Software Solutions Award recognizes partners that develop packaged software solutions based on Microsoft technologies. Level Platforms won this year’s award by creating robust software to meet specific customer needs and market demand.
Level Platforms was also honored with the regional Winning Customer Award for outstanding competitive efforts in Canada for delivering market-leading solutions that highlight the benefits of working on the Microsoft platform.
