Telovations, a Tampa, FL based MSP and MSPAlliance member, just announced that it will be acquired by Bright House Networks. The deal appears to be largely a cloud communications acquisition, with both parties having expertise in the area of clodu based comomunications services.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The long believed merger of the data and voice sides of the channel have been somewhat elusive in recent years. Traditional telephony VARs have not yet adopted data managed services in significant numbers. However, as exemplified by deals such as this one, cloud based communications seems to be the delivery vehicle for many companies to seamlessly transition between data and voice services.
