Ottawa, Canada — Sept. 24, 2007 — N-able Technologies®, the preferred supplier of remote monitoring and management software and business transformation services for managed service providers (MSPs) servicing small- and medium-sized businesses, today announced it has successfully completed the MSPAlliance’s (MSPA) new Vendor Accreditation Program (VAP). The new accreditation bolsters N-able’s visibility within the MSPA community and further demonstrates the company’s ability to provide VARs and MSP partners with an exceptional user experience.
Introduced in 2007, the MSPA’s VAP is the first formal accreditation of its kind designed specifically by MSPs as a benchmark for measuring the overall business, services and technology credentials of IT vendors addressing the managed services market. To earn this distinguished accreditation, an IT vendor must clearly show its ability to adhere to the highest principles of quality set forth by the MSPA. These selected standards of quality include areas such as:
• Channel Business Practices: Focusing on channel development, channel competition safeguards, experience in the managed services industry, etc.
• Product Roadmap, Research & Development: Examining a vendor's willingness to invest in the technology and services necessary to ensure continued relevance for the MSP community throughout the maturation cycle.
• Financial Stability: Examining a vendor’s financial stability to ensure adequate support of channel initiatives, partner support and product development.
• Client References: Qualifying at least three MSP-specific vendor client references.
“The MSPA Vendor Accreditation Program is the IT channel’s first and only certification designed exclusively by MSPs for technology vendors selling into this emerging and lucrative IT market,” says Charles Weaver, president of the MSPAlliance. “We launched this accreditation program to help establish and maintain a standard of excellence for today’s MSP vendors and provide a level of certainty to VARs and MSPs evaluating potential business partners. We are very proud to welcome N-able Technologies to this prestigious and growing body of MSPA accredited vendors.”
“Earning the accreditation of the MSPA and becoming a part of the Vendor Accreditation Program elevates the importance N-able places on quality, reliability, support and performance,” says Gavin Garbutt, president and CEO, N-able Technologies. “Our success will always be measured by that of our partners, which is why we will continue to raise the bar and invest in the technology, people and processes necessary to ensure N-able partners are the most successful MSPs in the world.”
