Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) company Naverisk and Scorpion Software, manufacturers of AuthAnvil, an authentication technology for IT Services Management, have entered into a partnership to deliver enhanced security and authentication capability’s to the global Naverisk Managed Service Provider (MSP) community.

“Naverisk was built with security in mind, but ultimately IT systems are only as secure as their passwords. By integrating AuthAnvil with Naverisk we are delivering the tools our partners need to ensure the ongoing security of their and their clients IT systems”, says Jon Kalaugher, Naverisk Founder and CEO.

“By partnering with Naverisk we are continuing to focus on being the preferred authentication solution for IT Services Management. Adding Naverisk to our portfolio of RMM integration partners ensures that MSP’s using Naverisk can enforce strong credential management internally, and provide AuthAnvil to their customers as part of an Authentication-as-a-Service offering,” says Julian Scott, VP Sales & Marketing at Scorpion Software.

The Naverisk – AuthAnvil integration offers the following benefits:

• 2FA – Two Factor Authentication. AuthAnvil delivers one time passwords, generated via a soft token application, to deliver best in class security to access to the Naverisk console.
• SSO – Single Sign On. Naverisk users can login once to Naverisk and then seamlessly access an array of third party Cloud Services consoles.
• Centralized password management. The AuthAnvil Password Server provides a platform storing, automating and auditing all your passwords in one central location.

“By integrating AuthAnvil’s world class authentication and security services we have again demonstrated our commitment to delivering on the business needs of our partners. We answer to our partners, no one else. When our partners speak we listen and take action.” says Jon Kalaugher.

The integration of these solutions has begun and will be available in the Naverisk 2014 R1 release, due May 2014.
