Netsocket today announced the official launch of its Virtual Partner Program for Technology Partners. Netsocket’s Virtual Partner Program now serves both Channel and Technology Partners that help the company deliver virtualized networking solutions optimized for SMB and enterprise branch offices.
Simplicity of Netsocket’s Virtual Partner Program
Netsocket’s Virtual Edge solution delivers cloud-based, automated service creation, delivery, management and orchestration and a broad suite of virtualized applications called vApps. Virtual Edge is designed for Managed Service Providers providing cloud-based IT services to their SMB and Enterprise customers. “Managed services are one of the fastest growing areas for partners serving SMB clients (Enterprise ROBOs have similar needs), providing them a way to leverage their technology investment and skills as they transform their businesses toward offering a full range of cloud-based solutions,” stated Kevin Rhone, senior partnering consultant ESG. “By creating an ecosystem of innovative 3rd party virtualized network services, Netsocket will enable its MSP partners to capitalize on an evolving SDN and NFV market opportunity.”
By opening up its application offerings to include a vast array of qualified, third-party applications for the Virtual Edge, Netsocket can deliver to its Service Provider customers a depth and breadth of new virtualized services that MSPs can in turn offer their customers. To qualify an application as a vApp, Technology Partner’s software application must be “virtualized”, meaning that the application is targeted to run in a virtual machine. No application development or integration is required. Netsocket will develop the rules that enable automatic application delivery and will certify the application’s interoperability with Netsocket’s Virtual Edge to formally qualify it as an official vApp. Benefits to the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) include:
