About this time each year there are always weather related events that cause me to consider all potential problems that can affect a business and all the technology that can help solve those problems. This week, as thousands are stranded along the Eastern seaboard of the US, as well as parts of Europe, I wonder how many can go about their business unaffected by the elements and travel delays.
I am already receiving lots of emails from colleagues saying they are working from home or stuck at a hotel due to the weather. With all this disruption to our personal and work lives it would seem to me an ideal time for MSPs to talk to their clients about how to implement technical solutions to ensure business continuity.
