The site features educational and technical materials specifically for MSPs who are using and who want to use SolarWinds products within their managed services practice.
The new site is further evidence that SolarWinds is taking its prominence within the managed services industry very seriously. Well established MSPs like ClearPointe, Anexio, and Verizon, have been using SolarWinds products for years to deliver their managed services offerings; with the launch of the dedicated MSP site today, SolarWinds appears to be recognizing its status within the community and are now taking an overt message to other MSPs that SolarWinds is not only MSP friendly but is also aware of the unique operational requirements MSPs have.
The site lists a variety of deployment options for MSPs who use the software, as well as itemized descriptions of common managed services offerings that can be deployed. For some time now legacy technology vendors have been learning that simple messaging to MSPs can mean a big difference in how service providers view such vendors. Because a good number of very mature MSPs have been successfully using SolarWinds for years, my feeling is that this new micro site will only continue to educate and introduce MSPs to this MSP friendly and relevant company.
