It is a very sad day to hear about the loss of Steve Jobs. I never knew or met the man but every where I go in the world his legacy is right there in front of me. Apple stores, people talking on iPhones, people taking notes on iPads at conferences; the vision Mr. Jobs had for the personal computing industry will go on for a long, long time. How his vision will impact our own industry of managed services and cloud computing will likely be just as significant.
I have nothing pithy to say other than it is a rather sad day. But, maybe there is a bright spot as I imagine what Steve would say to know that all over the world right now people are typing, tweeting, blogging, working, and playing on devices he created. Not a bad way to exit this world.
