According to eHosting Datafort, an analyst for the Middle East region, managed IT services spending is expected to grow by 12% in 2010, up from 2009. Current annual IT managed services spending is estimated to be $4.8 billion annually
Anecdotally, the mid-East region represents a very strong and growing area for MSPs. Of particular note, this region not only has strong MSP growth but the companies tend to be on the more mature side; existing VARs, integrators, and the like who are transitioning into managed services at a high rate.
Earlier this year Telelogix, a Dubai based MSP, went through the MSPAlliance MSAP audit, and other regional MSPs are likely to do the same very soon.
