ZINFI Technologies and Do IT Smarter Streamline Managed Services Platforms

PLEASANTON, CALIF.  – MARCH 25, 2008 – ZINFI Technologies Inc. will debut an extended managed services provider partnership with industry leader Do IT Smarter (DIS) at the MSPAlliance Managed Services Summit in Atlanta, Georgia from March 31 to April 1.  Under a new agreement, ZINFI will leverage hosted backend services from Do IT Smarter to improve the delivery of automated offerings that enable channel partners to speed their transition to the managed services provider (MSP) model.  ZINFI also announced that Lane Smith, President of Do IT Smarter, has agreed to join ZINFI’s channel advisory board, effective immediately.

ZINFI provides an integrated channel solutions automation platform for vendors and channel partners worldwide, serving the growing international market for managed services, which has grown at an estimated CAGR of 18% or more since 2004.  ZINFI’s sales and marketing technologies, processes and support infrastructure are designed to help channel partners and OEM vendors boost the effectiveness of their MSP businesses.

Do IT Smarter’s ‘Instant-MSP’ program lowers the barrier for entry into managed services for small-sized VARs and service providers.  Resellers can offer managed services to their customers while Do IT Smarter runs the backend infrastructure with end-to-end services ranging from training to demand generation.  Hosted offerings from a set of third-party relationships cover remote monitoring; help desk; network operations center (NOC) services; e-mail and Internet security; and remote backup.  Do IT Smarter has recently partnered with ZINFI to offer VARs automated process, technologies and services to help manage their daily customer relationships and sales and marketing activities, as well as handle situations that call for onsite remediation.

Under the agreement, ZINFI will integrate its services around Do IT Smarter’s ‘On Demand’ version of the award winning Level Platforms Managed Workplace remote monitoring and management toolset. ZINFI will also be leveraging Do IT Smarter’s proven process and methodology to deliver Managed Services through a reseller channel. ZINFI will offer this functionality to channel partners on a global basis, using Do IT Smarter’s data center in the US and in other regions.
