In speaking to a handful of MSPs over the last few days I’m hearing reports of big deals continuing to come to MSPs. I’m not surprised at this so much as I’m happy to hear that the proper role of managed services is actually helping small and medium businesses cope with the realities of our economy.
In one instance, an MSP in the southeast landed a very large monthly managed services contract from an organization who just needed to get their internal IT people some assistance. As the economic “recovery” drags on, these organizations will continue to need strategic help in managing IT.
The role for MSPs (and the need for qualified MSPs) remains as strong as I’ve ever seen it!
