Westborough, MA – April 24, 2007 – ComBrio, Inc., providers of remote connectivity software, and TECSys Development, Inc. (TDi), providers of device and application event monitoring and management solutions, today announced a strategic alliance to offer an integrated solution for secure remote monitoring and management services for service providers.
The two companies will collaborate by integrating ComBrio’s Virtual Service Infrastructure (VSI) with TDi’s ConsoleWorks® solution. The combined solution will allow service providers to remotely manage and repair problems on all systems, devices and applications that make up a customer’s mission-critical computing infrastructure. ComBrio’s VSI provides the remote connectivity software for TDi’s ConsoleWorks to detect events as they happen, instantly notifying support personnel and taking predetermined action to correct potential problems.
“The creation of this partnership allows service providers to use TDi’s ConsoleWorks remotely without having to rely on costly VPNs, dial-up line, or leased circuits,” said Dave Boulos, VP of product management and marketing, ComBrio. “By using the joint solution, service providers can deliver robust network management across a customer’s IT infrastructure and perform all services remotely through secure access.”
The ComBrio/TDi solution enables service providers to centralize all their customers’ managed services under a single instance of ConsoleWorks. This is done through secure, on-demand communications between ConsoleWorks, installed at the service providers’ operation center, and the customer’s network. The integrated solution provides revenue-generating and differentiating services that reduce mean time to problem resolution for their enterprise customers, while also meeting the enterprises’ stringent requirements for security and regulatory compliance. Compatibility tests have successfully been completed that streamline the integration of the two organizations’ complimentary products.
“TDi excels in servicing complex, mission-critical environments where failure is unthinkable,” said Darel Stokes, VP of engineering, TDi. “Through our partnership with ComBrio, we are able to extend this capability remotely, securely and more simply than ever before. This agreement combines best-in-class technologies from both companies to provide unprecedented visibility into the performance of business-critical devices and applications.”
